Researching fairies I found that they have two origins. Or should I say two different "mothers". Some believe that Lilith, the first wife of Adam, gave birth to the fairies. While other write about Aradia, daughter of the goddess Diana, giving birth to them. Aradia (the book), by the way is also known as "The Gospel of Witches". I sometimes lean toward Lilith, because I like her story. She was gonna be subservient to no man, especially Adam. I'm still researching (and writing) about fairy, gnomes, giants and their origins.
